We visited as a family of four plus two grandparents and found Station Hall met our needs very nicely. The house is well equipped and we didn't want for anything, particularly in the kitchen where all the usual utensils were provided. The kitchen space is a little compact but fine if there's just one head chef! The hot tub provided an all weather dip for the children as well as an evening relax for the adults! It was very clean and positioned away from the house in a private, not overlooked corner of the garden. The patio area and built in BBQ allowed us some alfresco dining when the sun made an evening appearance. Inside the house, the two main bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage. The children's bunk room was smaller, but perfect for our 6 and 8 year olds except for the nightly squabble over who was going on the top bunk! Cilgerran itself is a lovely village with a fair bit to see and do. We enjoyed walking down to the riverside and up to the castle as well as a longer walk towards the wildlife centre. We found both pubs to be very friendly places, as well as the local shop. There was a fish and chip van on a Thursday which was excellent. Outside of Cilgerran there's lost to see and do. We loved the beaches (Aberporth, Poppit, Mwnt) and Cardigan is nice town. Pizza Tipi well worth a visit with the kids! Overall we would recommend Station Hall for a fab family holiday.
