A beautiful cozy lodge, with excellent views of the most scenic lambs and sheep, (my pooch sat and watched them for hours!) and is set in an ideal location to explore Pembrokeshire! Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 days whilst we were there it poured down with rain, which was a shame, but did not stop us as we made the most of the hot tub facilities rain or shine. It was a perfect addition to our stay, and well utilised during our stay. It was easy to operate and very modern. There were a few shortcomings of the glamping pod, which for us really made our stay difficult, namely that there is zero storage or space for any personal items including clothing, shoes, towels, etc. every space or shelf was occupied, and we lived out of our car for the few days we stayed, and had to go back and forth to the car several times a day for clothing, food, and shower amenities etc. There is no shelving or hooks inside the entire room, only two clothes hooks outside. We really struggled with this, as the weather was not on our side and meant we had no where to hang or dry our clothes, with the exception of using the curtain tie back hooks. Making stays of more than 1 or 2 nights very challenging. The hosts were kind enough to give us a clothes peg, but unfortunately this was best used for intimates or socks, rather than hanging wet weather gear such as waterproof trousers, coats etc. which were drenched after the weather. A small free standing clothes horse would have been more suitable, as you could have placed this in front of the small radiator. I think adding a wall to wall shelf above the round window behind the bed, and some hooks/ shelving on the wall adjacent shower room wall, would be a perfect addition to help increase storage inside the pod, and making it more functional. You could also remove the objects in the yellow recessed areas, and add instead a shelf in each, again to maximise storage. In addition, the advert stated ‘enclosed garden’, and we were saddened that this wasn’t the case. Luckily, I always bring my dogs long line, but if I hadn’t, she would have been able to get onto the main road as the gate was open throughout our stay. If the area was gated along the rear of the pod, this would have enclosed the area and would have enabled us to have a worry free few days with our pooch. I had a wave from the farmer and her sheep dog in the mornings - making it a friendly, and warm place to stay. Thank you for your welcome pack (milk, Welsh cakes, cider and toffee waffles!) xWith that said, it was a beautiful stay and I think with a few tweaks it would have been an exceptional one! My pooch had a lovely time too, and had a parting kiss through the fence from a little black lamb! (She was made up!) as was I, when a flock of lambs came to say hello to me when having my morning coffee! Diolch!

Hafan Fach, is a delightful little pod. With a lovely spacious, enclosed garden. Which includes a cracking gas bbq (gas included) 2 separate seating area’s. 1 for eating, and the other for relaxing around a fire pit. With comfortable styling chairs. And stunning views. On top of that there’s a large top of the range hot tub to relax in also. Which is all very private, and secluded. We met the host, Katherine briefly, who was very friendly, helpful, and very easy to talk to. The location is ideal. It’s rural enough to be very peaceful. Yet no more than a 5 minute drive to a well stocked supermarket. As for site seeing, again perfect. You could visit every attraction in a day if you wanted, and never be further than 20mins away from your pod, from every direction. Would definitely recommend.
