Our dog didn't want to leave!

Kirsten
This is a beautiful and comfortable cottage for families. Chris and Lesley, the owners, are amazing hosts and made our stay very special, allowing our boys to help with the ducks and pointing us in the right direction of local entertainment. We loved spending evenings in the hot tub and sitting by the fire pit and the location of the cottage puts you in a brilliant position to visit all the lovely coastal towns and their gorgeous beaches. We will definitely be back!
Lovely cottage equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds, lovely area to explore, and great hosts. The hot tub is a bonus and was enjoyed by all. Beautiful part of Wales hope to be back. Many thanks !

Immaculate Accommodation very accommodating and sensitive hosts that are there if you need them and not if you dont that will act immediately if anything is required. The little extras inside the beautiful & tastefully restored Mill makes staying here so easy such as simply things like kitchen roll and washing up liquid even though there are ALL the mod cons required dish washer etc Hot tub is amazing but DO ask if they can switch the really annoying flashing fairy lights OFF when in the Hot Tub there is road noise but soon forgotten as relaxation kicks in Great pubs near by also its in a really good location to get everywhere and anywhere. Thank you for a very special stay.
Wow wow wow wow wow. We had an incredible short break here. The property is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you could need. Cosiness off the scale. Perfect place to come to and relax. The owners are lovely people also and couldnt have been more accommodating. Highlighted good places for us to go and to eat. Offered to light the fire for us and turn the lights on if we were to be arriving in the dark. We were lucky that the fields had no livestock which meant we could walk our dog in the fields, knowing that they are secure. Despite this though there is plenty space next to the cottage for the dog to be walked in the morning and evening. Will definitely stay again. Would recommend to anyone. Also perfect location to visit the area as centrally located.
Stephanie
Thank you Chris and Lesley for such a wonderful few days in this amazing cottage! It was magical and we loved the hot tub and log fire! The cottage had everything we needed and Chris was so helpful with letting us know where to go for the best Sunday lunch, the best walks with our labrador and was welcoming and friendly. This area of Wales had a magical charm and our family will definitely be back! Thank you for everything! Love The ClarkAtkins Clan xxxx
A blind in the kitchen would be nice. The lounge could benefit from some artwork on walls .It did not feel as homely as it could. We were made to feel very welcome, great hosts, and we loved the area very much. SUPER SUPER COTTAGE.
We had the most amazing 3 nights spent here. The cottage was outstanding with everything you need and the fields situated right next to the cottage was perfect for our dog. Best place weve stayed and will certainly be coming back. Chris was very attentive whilst offering you peace and privacy. Thanks again Alex, Lucy and Bruno

Chris and Lesley have a beautiful holiday cottage, it has everything we needed for our stay I highly recommend it, the cottage and its location Is perfect.
All facilities as listed. Beautiful cottage inside & out. Lesley & Chris are very friendly and will assist with any advice issues straight away. Low light pollution ideal for stargazing from the hot tub if you like. If taking dogs, they must have good recall ours do as the garden is not enclosed. This is made clear of course. Highly recommended.

Very pretty cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Had all the comforts of home with plenty of space for our family of 4 and the added bonus of a hot tub and fire pit. We enjoyed saying hello to the duck each day. Great location with easy access to the rest of Pembrokeshire as well as walks from the doorstep.
Antony
This property is stunning. Fully kitted out with everything we could possibly need. Privacy when required. Absolutely fabulous. Any minor concerns were dealt with immediately with our lovely hosts, Chris and Lesley.
Y Felin is a real gem of a cottage comfortable, clean and characterful and a great base for exploring the beautiful country and coast nearby. Other plus points are the friendly and helpful owners and the wellequipped kitchen. Although the weather wasn't great during our three day stay, we had some delightful walks in the Gwaun valley, Tycanol Wood, Newport Sands and around Castell Henllys.
Jonathan
A lovely well maintained cottage in a beautiful rural setting. A friendly personal welcome from the hosts Chris and Lesley who are on hand if needed.
5 star form us. Perfect place to stay spacious and very clean. Outside space was fab with a great hot tub to relax in after a besy day. We had everything we needed including beaches and costly walks. Overall we would come back. Thank you for letting us stay in such a great place.
The property was every bit as good and inviting as was seen on line and having the owner within the same grounds gave us all the information and help we could want.
Beautifully presented property ,lovely gardens. Plenty outdoor seating , hot tub a bonus. Comfortable furniture and beds, the linen hotel Quality Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Would definitely return
Beautiful cottagebut felt a bit on edge didnt find it very dog friendly
Lovely cottage, owners Chris & Lesley made us feel very welcomed. Great location to explore Pembrokeshire.
Perfect cottage, perfect location and great hosts! The ideal way to spend our 20th Wedding Anniversary weekend !!
Great location and great hosts. Chris and Lesley are very happy to assist with any queries and offer up good suggestions on trips and dog walks in the local vicinity. They also help with the pronunciations of local towns and villages which was very helpful The cottage is lovely, immaculately clean and well presented. All furnishing are comfortable, makes a change to have both beds and couches being in good condition as normally 1 of them is an issue, the shower is lovely, powerful and hot also. The outdoor area is very roomy and well laid out with plenty of space for the dog to explore. All in all, a great location that I would be happy to revisit in the future.
Chris and Lesley were very informative and welcoming. We loved our stay
Lovely place to stay cottage was very peaceful and well located to Several walks ... Lovely place to stay cottage was very peaceful and well located to Several walks and towns host were very welcoming on arrival and discreet for our stay
Gabriella
When arrived we met Chris & Lesley and had a tour from Chris. He showed us around and explained how things worked. The house was lush and cosy, upon arrival the oven wasnt working but they fixed it as soon as possible and was very apologetic. The bedroom was cosy and warm. Hot tub was good but with the cold nights it was not good getting out! Lovely little place, was easy to find but it is very out in the middle of nowhere but some people like that, we didnt realise how far everything is from it. Overall it was a nice stay
A deceptively spacious cottage, superbly decorated with fabulous use of natural slate and wood. Very quiet and peaceful. A good base for walking parts of the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast. Very comfortable double bed, dark skies helping to ensure a good night's sleep after a day walking. If we were to make one recommendation for improvement it would be to put some steps or something at the side of the cottage to enable visitors to get to the hot tub from the patio doors in the double bedroom closer to the shower as this would enhance the privacy rather than going out of the frint doir. Overall though this was an excellent property for our short break. Chris and Lesley are great hosts, very welcoming. Thank you
We were delighted with our stay and Chris and Lesley made us so welcome. The cottage is in a beautiful location with brilliant inside and outside space and comfort. We could not fault anything and our dog, Porridge, had a great time too. Huge thanks to Chris and Lesley for a fabulous holiday
Andrew
We advised chris that a radio or alexa would be great and a side light in the lounge. Great hosts and lovely people
Everthink was great owner were great will reture will allso tell ever one how great it was
I am fortunate to stay in a lot of holiday cottages around Cornwall and the West Wales coast. I can honestly say that i have now found the best i have stayed in. The location is fantastic. I have a dog, the area is dog friendly and fantastic beaches. Its own garden, off road just enough with a pub 300 yds away colourful locals and great food. The beach at Newport is fantastic and a 5 minute drive away. With great local shops and pubs etc. It is not a touristy place, with a very chilled vibe. Which is exactly what i want, if you want to try a busier place for the day Newquay is a short drive, or Tenby an hour. The cottage itself is fantastic, well appointed with everything you need for a week away, the decor, furnishings and kitchen etc is everything that you need. The outside, a great garden, well maintained by Chris, bbq, firepit and hot tub. Plenty of parking etc. Then last but not least, the hosts Lesley and Chris. The nicest people you will ever meet, full of information about the area and anything you may need, and nothing too much trouble. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, it really is that good. I am already looking at weeks for next year. Neil.
We loved our stay at Y Felin. It was perfect in so many ways. Lesley and Chris are such lovely welcoming people for whom nothing is too much trouble. We felt very much at home. The cottage is gorgeous, very characterful & historic whilst also having all the amenities needed. Amazingly comfortable beds, perfect after a long days walking! Cannot recommend highly enough!
Delyth Lisa
Absolutely beautiful cottage in fantastic surroundings. The cottage was absolutely spotless clean and extremely well maintained. It is quite obvious that the hosts, Chris & Lesley are proud of their property and so they should be. The hot tub was a delight and again very well maintained. Chris & Lesley were on hand if required but did not intrude on your privacy. An absolute delight. We will be back
Wonderful place to stay. Great hosts, nothing too much trouble.Felt so welcome.Cottage is so homely & comfortable.Loved chilling in the hot tub. Great location for exploring the stunning location.
Chris and Leslie where fantastic hosts, we were very well looked after including our two dogs Nell and Bert, their knowledge of the local area was invaluable. We will stay at Y Felin at Coed Cadw and would very highly recommend the property as a lovely place to stay.
Edward
Great stay and cannot thank Chris enough for his help during our stay.
Robert
Gorgeous cottage with everything you need. So much today in the area means little travelling once there which is a bonus. Certainly on the list for a revisit.
Caroline
Stunning cottage, with absolutely everything you could wish for. The owners are on hand for anything and know every beach, walk and places to eat in the local area. The hot tub was wonderful after a day exploring whilst being watched by the sheep grazing in the adjoining field. We will definitely return.
Excellent 'get away from it all' property, quirky but fully equiped, clean and comfortable. Chris & Lesley great hosts, very welcoming, and great local knowledge for visiting the area, walking, eating, drinking etc. What better than relaxing in the hottub with a glass of bubbly, after a day walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Our tip, visit 'The Ferry' for Sunday lunch.
